HAM RONG MOUNTAIN IS Located in the centre of Sa Pa. from here you can see the whole panorama of Sa Pa town. Ideal for walking (2.5 hours round trip). Discover the artificial orchid garden and enjoy the art show program of the ethnic minority groups.

cafes: we recommend memory cafe by sa pa lake. It's a locally run cafe. ask for their speciality coffee with ice (i'ts the additional coconut juice that makes it great!) or their lemon juice (great tangy lemon!).

Bus Station - To Lao Cai: Mini buses leaves near the church when they get full. You can also get one along the side of the main road. The new bus station for local buses to other destinations is located near the lake.

Police Station: located near the church.
Tourist Information: located on Ca May Street, the main high street

Hospital: The new hospital is 3km out from the town.

Pharmacy: Many in town, such as that on Cau May Street.

Post Office GPO/ Telephone office: Summer 7:00-21:00 Winter 7:30-21:30.

Restaurants: there are now a good selection of restaurants in Sa Pa serving a wide variety of food.
