Hotel Guide
Newsletter Summer 2008

If you are of adventurous spirit, then why not head for the hills by motorbike or jeep.

We arrange trips to many areas in the local vicinity, the northwest and around Sa Pa. Trips can be tailored to suit individual interest. Transport and guides are available—by the hour or the day. The trip to Tran Phrom Pass is highly recommended. On a clear day, the views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range are spectacular.

We have a variety of different options and can arrange tailor-made itineraries.

At a height of 2047m the pass has magnificent  views of the surrounding area. The route follows the main road to Lai Chau and the return trip takes about 45 minutes by mini bus jeep or motorbike. Stop on the way to view Silver Waterfall. Trips can be arranged from the hotel.

Ta Phin Village is situated in the northeast of Sa Pa and is home to the Red Dao minority. Here you can also visit Ta Phin Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in the Sa Pa region. If you don’t want to walk to Ta Phin Village, we also arrange half-day trips travelling by minibus, motorbike or jeep.

Further on from Tran Tom Pass is the delightful Binh Lu Village, home of the Lu people. It makes an excellent extension to a visit to the pass.
